VoIP-IT

When added to i₂Gemini's Local Call Analyzer (LCA) the VoIP-IT database provides quantitative estimates of call termination costs that may be incurred for IP-originated traffic using the Public Switched Telephone Network.  LCA VoIP-IT is a pricing database which permits users to:

• Determine if a call is local (based on the incumbent LEC’s definitions of a local call)
• Determine the total switched access MOU charges received from the ILEC if the call was based on FCC state tariffs)

VoIP-IT is an essential database which offers unified pricing of terminating switched access rates and costs on an NPA-NXX level within or between all calling areas in the United States .

Delivered as a Microsoft Access™ file, VoIP-IT is flexible as it allows businesses to load call detail record information into the tool and use the predefined queries. Alternatively, companies may import VoIP-IT into their own IT environment and build a system around it.

While other tariff services provide either images of the tariff pages or electronic listings of the individual rate elements contained in the tariffs, VoIP-IT combines all rate elements with the correct quantities to produce a final cost per minute assessment.
